We all have questions and we all need answers. Here are some answers to a few frequently asked questions.

What is a look?

A look is a wardrobe change. Along with changing the wardrobe we will change the lighting and backdrop. You may add or take away one piece such as glasses or a jacket to a look without having count as a different look. The minimum package is a 2 look session. I do not shoot single looks.

Where do we shoot and will weather effect the shoot?

We shoot in my studio with studio lighting. Since we do not leave the studio weather will not effect the shoot. There is a Makeup table & chair, clothing rack, restroom & changing room, and coffee station with Coffee, Tea, water, and snacks for clients.

Is makeup required?

Although hiring my professional makeup artist is not required it is highly recommended. My makeup artist stays the entire shoot to make touch ups, small changes and to make sure your hair is looking sharp! When you arrive we will go over how you typically wear your hair & makeup so that we can make sure it is an accurate representation of who you are. The makeup artist will give you a clean and natural look it will not be heavy and noticeable. Your hair should be camera ready when you arrive so we can see how you wear it, and the MUA will perfect it for camera.  How you look that day has to represent the same person that walks into a casting!  It is a collaboration, and we can't read your mind,  so we encourage you to speak up if you want something changed , or something does not feel like you with the makeup.  

What should you expect after the shoot?

On the day of the shoot you will receive an email to a Dropbox gallery of your shoot which you can download your images from. From there you will choose which photo(s) you would like to be retouched, and receive them back within 5 business days from when you send back your selects.

How do I make a booking?

I typically book up at least 1-2 months in advance. Please send an email through the contact page , with your basic info and when you are looking to shoot, and once we find a date that works for you, I will get you in the books. Once you are booked you will receive all the info for your shoot including the address, wardrobe advice, payment info, and other helpful information! Click here to book!

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a deposit is required to hold your shoot date. In the event that you must reschedule or cancel you must do so 48 hours before the shoot in order to keep your deposit. By booking with me you agree to these conditions.

Can I see my images during the headshot session?

Yes, I shoot tethered to my computer so that we can review the images as we shoot. It is a great way for us to make sure everything is looking great!

What if I have to reschedule?

Rescheduling is allowed ONCE with 2 business days notice. Rescheduling with less than 2-business days notice is considered a cancellation and your holding fee/deposit is sacrificed. If you reschedule, your rescheduled appointment must be within 6 months of your original session date. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Will my images be retouched?

Yes, included in each package is 1 retouched image per look

What is involved in the free retouching?

Retouching involves color correcting so that your skin is balanced and accurate. Cleaning of fly-away hairs and any non permanent marks on your skin.

Reshoots or Refunds?

Photographs are artistic creations. Interpretation of artistic creations is extremely subjective. Because of this, there are NO re-shoots or refunds for any reasons other than technical issues/malfunctions where the client does not receive at least 100 images in clear focus. There are NO exceptions to this rule.

Do you shoot in natural light or in the studio?

I shoot in the studio with controlled studio lighting. If requested we can shoot with natural light in studio or on location.

How will I receive my images and can I get high resolution versions of the images?

You will receive a Dropbox gallery of all low resolution images shot during the session the day of the shoot. You may receive high resolution versions of the image upon request.
